Statoil ASA (STO) Friday said Norway’s parliament had approved its plan for development and operation of the Valemon gas and condensate field in the North Sea. Valemon, one of Statoil’s largest development projects on the Norwegian continental shelf in the next few years, was approved by parliament Thursday and production is planned to start in 2014.
